At every reasonably large birthday there is a moment when the cake has been cut, eaten, and nothing else happens. A truck opening its counter right then restarts the evening — and neatly replaces the dessert nobody felt like making.

A cake has to be cut, plated and handed out: that is twenty minutes of work for the host. Our pastéis de nata come out of the oven by the tray and are picked up by hand. Nothing to slice, nothing to serve, nothing to wash. And you stay with your guests instead of standing in the kitchen.
The truck sets up in a driveway, on a car park, outside a house or a community hall. It is self-contained: no electricity, water or kitchen required. Where access is tight — an inner courtyard, a pedestrian street, a garden at the back of a plot — the bike truck gets through where the truck cannot.
Two pieces per person is enough when a meal has already been served, three if the foodtruck is the main dessert. The minimum is 100 pieces, in steps of 100 — about thirty guests helping themselves more than once. Every 100 pieces gives you one free hour on site.

Yes, and it is simpler than a cake: no slicing, no plates, and children come back to the counter by themselves. Allow around two pieces per child and one for each adult present.
No. The pastries are made for your date, so we need a few days. The configurator only offers dates that are genuinely available — if a date appears, it can be booked.
Whatever is left is yours and goes home with you. Pastéis de nata keep for 48 hours and reheat in three minutes in the oven: the next day they are close to how they started.
Yes, and that is the most common booking: the dessert food truck serves the dessert, not the meal. Orders start at 100 pieces, in steps of 100, at €3,90 incl. VAT per piece — transport included, from €490,00 incl. VAT in Brussels. Every 100 units includes one hour of service.
